Edgar

Overview

Edgar is a program that allows you to use the six keys of the computer keyboard to type braille just like a Perkins brailler, with the additional benefit of being able to use the "delete" key and other typical tools to edit your files!

Running Edgar

Once you have expanded the programs, you should read **all** of the documentation included. Certain keyboards will not work with Edgar or any other six-key input program. The reason is that their internal buffer will not store as many as the six keys needed to portray a six-dot braille character before writing them to the screen as a single braille character.
