    Session 2: The Braille Alphabet; Braille Writing Devices

    Upon completion of this session, a participant should be able to do the following:
    1. Read brailled words and provide a written translation of those words.

    2. Use one or several braille-producing devices (slate/stylus, Perkins brailler, Mac/PCBrailler) to translate print words into braille.

    3. Describe the workings of braille writing devices, including:

      • Slate and Stylus
      • Perkins Brailler
      • Computer-generated braille
