    Bruce Jay Friedman

    EATING ALONE IN RESTAURANTS

    Bruce Jay Friedman (born 1930) is a native of New york City and a 1951 graduate of the University of Missouri, where he majored in journalism. In our selection, taken from The Lonely Guy's Book of Life (1979), he offers the urban male who must dine out alone witty advice on coping with the situation.
