  • Session 6: Columned Materials

    Columns and columned materials are legion in virtually any textbook, and the professional transcriber needs to be very well-versed in how to handle these kinds of formats. Columns are fundamentally vertically arranged items. The complete Rule for columned materials is provided for you as a reference. What we will try to do in this session is give you a number of examples of tables and how they might be handled in braille.

    1. Simple two-column table with headings
